Attorney Suzanne Bigelow-Cherry is seeking your vote for Magisterial District Judge of Magisterial District Court 24-3-01. This office was formerly held by the Honorable Fred Miller and serves Northern Blair County.

Suzanne was born in 1968 the daughter of James H. Bigelow and Mary Francis Bigelow. She is a lifetime resident of Tyrone, Blair County, Pennsylvania. She graduated from Tyrone Area High School in 1986. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science in 1990 from the University of Pittsburgh, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, graduating cum laude. She obtained her Juris Doctorate in 1993 from the University of Akron School of Law. Suzanne was admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania on January 7, 1994. She was also admitted to practice law before the United States District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania and Middle District of Pennsylvania.

Suzanne has been a practicing attorney in Blair County for over 30 years. Over the course of her career she has appeared in multiple jurisdictions, including the Court of Common Pleas for Blair County and 9 surrounding counties. She has also argued cases before the Superior Court of Pennsylvania located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Suzanne has argued cases in both Pittsburgh and Harrisburg, Pennsylvania before the Bureau of Hearings and Appeals for the Department of Human Services. On the Federal Court level, Suzanne has appeared and argued cases in the United States District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania and the Middle District of Pennsylvania. Suzanne has also appeared before the United States Department of Labor Employee Compensation Board in Washington, D.C.

Suzanne and her husband, Mike reside in Tyrone Township. They are the parents of two adult children, Michael and Mattie.
